We’ve changed how you accept terms and conditions in Care Identity Service.

By using a smartcard or other authenticator you now implicitly accept the Care Identity Service terms and conditions.

Previously a user had to log in to the old Care Identity Service application and actively accept the service’s terms and conditions.

Now that the legacy service has been fully replaced by Care Identity Management, this is no longer the case. You do not need to log in to Care Identity Management to accept terms and conditions.

The latest version of NHS Identity Agent also makes it clear that there is now no need to log in to accept the terms and conditions.
