Additional information for digital leaders – December 2023
More than half of all NHS acute trusts in England now offer their patients the ability to view their hospital referrals and appointments on the NHS App. This makes it easier for patients to manage their healthcare from their mobile phone.
If your trust offers this service, you can tell your patients about it using our promotional pack from the NHS App toolkit.
Find out more on our NHS App features for hospital appointments webpage and on FutureNHS (FutureNHS login required). You can contact our team if you have any questions.
We offer free, online Digital Clinical Safety training to NHS staff to help everyone involved in healthcare understand their roles and responsibilities. There are several levels, from beginner to advanced.
The intermediate level module is a CPD-accredited course. It has been updated following user feedback to improve understanding of real-life applications of digital clinical safety.
Find out more and access the training.
The NHS App helps patients to get well, stay well and take control of their health, while supporting NHS professionals to deliver the best possible care.
Having an ambassador to champion the NHS App in your area means that you always get the latest NHS App updates and can connect with other ambassadors for tips on promoting the app.
If you, or your colleagues, would like to join our community, please contact appambassadors@nhs.net.
